Can also give Keywordspy a try. KeywordSpy.com is a Keyword Research Tool that helps identify what keywords competitors use, with results actually reflecting what advertisers are using at the current time. - http://www.keywordspy.com

Frank -

I'll pass the question along (though I'm not sure it's a question I'd answer if I was Brad).

My two cents: when you find a winner, start creating barriers to entry so that others cannot easily knock you off - the easier it is, the more likely someone's going to try and take your territory.

Also, don't forget about the bitch-slap techniques - invaluable in these situations and becoming MORE relevant as time passes.

Beyond working it as an affiliate, start building YOUR business by developing products of your own and letting others (your affiliates) fight it out.

Hi .X.,

Here's one for Brad. What does he recommend for dealing with the affiliate spy tools like UCP, GCD, etc. Any good tips to prevent them from seeing your affiliate sites?

Thanks,
Frank
