This may be of use to anyone considering SpeedPPC.
Last week I used SpeedPPC to create over 2,000 adgroups in about an hour. That’s from when I had the keywords to when they were posted on Google.
SppedPPC is astonishingly fast…it creates campaigns and then you put them into Adwords Editor to upload to Google (also does Yahoo/MSN)
One of the cool things I liked was that when I made mistakes, I just rebuilt the campaigns in SpeedPPC, imported them and boom, they were done.
And get this - those 2,000 adgroups were part of a nationwide city level campaign and that was just the Bay Area and LA.
But here’s what’s really powerful. Suppose I wanted to do every major city - how long would it take?
It took me an hour for the first two, but that was mainly setting up the ads and making sure everything was ok. To add more cities, I just paste them in, and I’ll bet it would take about a minute to do about another hundred cities with the resulting thousands of adgroups. iThis thing is bloody great!
It’s got lots of other ways to create large numbers of adgroups, so check it out if that’s something you are interested in.
